Not sure what to expect when hiring a website and SEO agency? Here’s an honest look at how we do business.
Before anyone commits to anything, we want to get to know you. During this 45-minute discovery call, held over Google Meet, we ask a series of questions so we can make the right recommendations for your business.
Next, we’ll send over a quote with our recommendations — including costs, timeline, and what we need from you. This is your time to ask any questions and decide whether Elysian Digital Media is right for you.
Once you decide to move forward, we send over a basic service agreement. We’ll also share a folder for you to drop any photos or logos, plus a guide to securely sharing account credentials or admin access for connected services.
Once we have everything we need, we’ll take it from there. You’ll receive regular updates about your website project. For SEO and ongoing digital marketing, we send monthly progress reports.
Honest answers to the questions we hear most.
SEO stands for “Search Engine Optimization,” which refers to a series of techniques and practices that help a website show up when someone uses a search engine like Google, or an AI answer bot like ChatGPT.
Search Engine Optimization, or SEO, is what helps potential customers searching online find you. Having a great website is a core foundation of good SEO, along with other factors like Google reviews, social media, directory management, and more.
Nearly every local business can benefit immensely from a technically sound website. The vast majority of people search for local businesses through Google or AI chat. If your website does not show up when users search for relevant terms, such as “restaurants near me,” you may be losing significant revenue.
The discovery call runs about 45 minutes over Google Meet. There’s no cost and no obligation — it’s simply a conversation so we can understand your business and make the right recommendations.
No. We never lock you into a long-term agreement. Our contract simply puts your scope, timeline, and cost in writing so everyone stays on the same page. Your comfort and satisfaction always come first.
After onboarding, we’ll share a folder where you can drop photos and logos, plus a simple guide for securely sharing access to connected services like your website host and Google Business Profile.
As involved as you’d like to be. At a minimum, you’ll receive regular updates and give final approval before any website goes live. Want to be more hands-on? Just let us know and we’ll bring you further into the process.
For SEO and ongoing digital marketing, we send a monthly report and make time for a monthly call to walk through the data together — so you can always see what’s changing and why.
It depends on your needs. New websites typically start at $1,500 and costs rise from there based on number of pages, and what other work is required to fully develop the site. Ongoing hosting, SEO, and maintenance start at $150 per month. You’ll get a clear quote after our consultation, with no surprises.
